Asian Studies Outreach Program (ASOP)
For several years Canaan Schools has been a proud partner with the University of Vermont's Asian Studies Outreach Program. Members of the Canaan teachers, students and administrative staff have traveled to China, Mongolia and Japan with the purpose of learning first hand about Asian life and culture. Teachers then incorporate these experiences into their curriculum. Administrators have been part of forums designed to share ways in which we can all improve education. But, most importantly, it has offered the opportunity to build understanding and friendship between our cultures.

Journey East II
Students from Leland and Gray’s Journey East II will be visiting Canaan MAY 23 and 24: Performances and Q&A at Canaan, Vermont schools and environs.
