The balance between pictures and text can be tricky, simple logic would tell you the the more pictures you have the less room for text, and vies versa.

An average page with 10 photos will allow for approximately  2,500 text characters, that includes spaces. That equals a little less then a 1/2 page in Microsoft Word with a font size at 9 points.
