The Daley Pages are expanding. Last week, I received an e-mail from NEK Sports writer Jordan Royer inquiring as to whether I would be interested in becoming a contributor for the spring seasons. NEK (North East Kingdom) Sports covers high school sports across the region, spanning from Canaan to Lisbon. With help from The Daley Pages, each and every baseball and softball game will be published on neksports.net.

The season preview for the baseball team has already been published on the Web site under their "Spring Previews" section. Look for game summaries to be posted once the season is underway. In addition to providing textual write-ups of games, Royer asked if I would submit a weekly audio wrap-up of all the action on both the softball and baseball diamonds. The broadcast would be available for all to listen to across the region.

Once the weather cooperates, and the teams finally take the field, there will be no shortage of exposure for Canaan's baseball and softball teams. Due to our remote location in relation to other schools, Royer expressed how difficult it can sometimes be to give the Eagles the publicity they deserve. It is guaranteed that our spring sports programs will not be flying under the radar this season.
