SUMMER Food BACKPACK PROGRAM FREE Food for your Child/Children Canaan Schools will be offering a Summer Backpack Program to offer a supply of nutritious food for Canaan Students. We understand how costly groceries are and would like to help families. YOU MUST PICK UP YOUR FOOD BAGS! Pick up times will be determined based on number of families. Please let me know what time of day is best. 8-10am or 5-7pm ____ July 12th ____ August 2nd Any child enrolled at Canaan School will be eligible for this program. This program is made possible from generous donations from the ACT112 Mental Health Grant! If you feel that your children would benefit, you can sign them up the following ways: ● Filling out the form https://5il.co/2pggf and return to Mrs. Berry ● Email jberry@canaanschools.org , or ● Call 1-802-266-8910 and let Stacey know you would like to be added to the list

Scholastic Book Fair is officially here! Open before, during, and after school, the Book Fair will take place inside the library until Friday, and items can be purchased using cash, checks, debit/credit cards, or eWallet, which allows parents to upload money to their child's account ahead of time.

On Tuesday,, May 21 at 5:30 p.m. in the Canaan School Library, we will have a community input meeting for the Title One grant. At 6:00 p.m., will we have the Title 4 community input grant meeting in the Library.

Essex County Courthouse project from the Manufacturing & Woodworking Canaan Memorial High School: Pictures are beofre, the table, and then after. They will be cutting an opening in the railing in the back to bring defendants in to make the courtroom safer. Ron Patterson Principal Canaan Memorial High School 99 School Street Canaan, Vermont 05903 Dear Principal Petterson, We are writing to you to acknowledge the wonderful contribution that Canaan Memorial High School has made to the Essex County Courthouse through th Career Technical Program at the Canaan Technical Center. Through the leadership of instructor Kimberly Sweatt two of your students successfully completed an incredibly complex task of transitioning a piece of Essex County history into a new use for the 21st century. We would like to recognize Christopher Tubbs and Walter Farrar for their outstanding skills acquired through the CTE program and wholly would recommend both of them for further advanced work in the furniture making industry.
