4th and 2nd grade pictures of them trying to go as fast as a computer writing zeros and ones on a piece of paper. It was fun. Digital is all the things that have a screen that you use for entertainment. Everything is run on zeros and ones. Citizenship is when you choose to do good when you are on-line or on your digital toys. Remember to answer the question: Why be good? for next class. 4th grade on Thursday and 2nd grade on Friday.

Starting next Tuesday, teachers will be having collaborative meetings in the morning until 8:47AM. Block 1 classes begin promptly at 8:50AM.
Students are welcome to come to school and participate in activities in the gym. However, students do not need to attend until 8:50AM, if that is an option for your family.
If your child will not attend school until 8:50AM on Tuesdays, please call Stacey to let her know at 802-266-8910 Ext. 2156 or email splacey@canaanschools.org at your earliest convenience.

Reminder this Saturday, Jan 24 from 8:30am - 12:00pm at Canaan Schools MPR/Cafeteria we will have a Chess Tournament. If you have been in Chess Club or the Knights of the Round Table this year in our EPIC program you are invited to be there to play. If you are an adult or student from another school or chess club please play against the Canaan Chess Club. If you are coming please email Frankie at fsawicki@canaanschools.org. Let's has some fun with our minds! Those who are playing for Canaan Schools make sure you fill out a field trip form or fill one out when you get to the tournament this Saturday. There will be food and prizes there also.

Gratitude Grams! PBIS word of the month is gratitude, show your appreciation for someone by purchasing them a candy gram, with a personalized note and sweet treat. Grams will be delivered to classrooms the day before Thanksgiving break. Order forms have been sent home. Extra forms are located on the PBIS bulletin board in the elementary hallway.
