As we approach Breast Cancer Awareness month, the K-Kids & Key Club has teamed up with Builder's Club in selling socks for a cause. There are 4 different styles to pick from! An order form has been sent home with members. If anyone is interested in purchasing or making a donation see a member or Ms. Saari. Socks are $5 each and all proceeds will be donated to Two Rivers Relief for Cancer. Thank you in advance for your support!

The Canaan School District is working with other NEK districts to create a position paper for the task force's consideration and would very much like to obtain the input of the local community. Our position at this time is that redistricting to a large supervisory union is not practical given the geographic isolation of Canaan, but we would consider sharing resources with other districts when it is practical.

Congratulations to our Canaan Varsity Athletes for receiving the Award of Excellence. This award is given to schools who demonstrate sportsmanship during the 24-25 season. This is given to schools who received no disqualifications in any sport. We are so proud of you!

Please be aware that students need proper footwear when participating in PE class or going to be in the gym. No shoes that make scuff marks and nothing that easily comes off, i.e. crocs and flip flops. Please have them bring a change of shoes if necessary. Thank you.

We are very excited to announce that the Pittsburg - Canaan Athletic Department has partnered with FinalForms, an online forms and data management service. FinalForms allows you to complete and sign athletic participation forms for your students. The most exciting news is that FinalForms saves data from season-to-season and year-to-year, meaning that you will never need to enter the same information twice! FinalForms also pre-populates information wherever possible, for each of your students, saving you time.
You may review your data at any time to verify it is current. You will be required to sign your forms once per year and after any update.
Click on the Parent Playbook (attached) to get started in FinalForms. If you require any support during the process, scroll to the page bottom and click “Get Help”.
We are asking the parents/guardians of all students planning to play sports to create accounts in FinalForms and register your student(s).
