These photos show Canaan's two teams competing in a maple installation challenge yesterday. They competed against other agriculture and/or forestry programs from around the State. They worked as teams to solve issues and had fun at the same time. These Career Development Events are sponsored by the FFA and drive a large volume of the curriculum in the DAgNR program. Results pending.

With the nor’easter coming, and days to play being very limited, Profile has decided we will play our Varsity Baseball double header in Lisbon tomorrow instead of Profile, because their field is very wet. As a result, we will also be playing much earlier. Our first game will be at 12:30, followed by the second at 2:30. This means bus times will be moved up to 9:30 from Pittsburg and 9:45 from Canaan. This is an unusual circumstance but options are very limited.

Today students in Grades 1-6 walked to the Coos County Nursing Home to deliver No- Sew Bunnies they made during last week's Tuesday collaboration program. Tuesday morning collaboration activities incorporate one or more of the PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Supports) pillars, Be Kind, Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible. We are proud to say that these pillars were demonstrated throughout our field trip by all of our students. A huge thank you to the Coos County Nursing Home staff for bringing some of the residents down to accept their new stuffed bunnies!
